Metal Hammer and Powerplay reviews
Powerplay "With a doomy guitar sound that shares as much in common with High On Fire as it does the hardcore scene, Ireland's Only Fumes & Corpses serve up a pacy, passionate serving of balls-to-the-wall punk rock fury that shows bags of potential 7/10" - Terry Bezer, Metal Hammer
"A rambling, slow burning preface introduces Only Fumes & Corpses to the world, promptly exploding into a hardcore skirmish that brings together influences from wide ranging acts like Capdown, Strike Anywhere, Sonic Boom Six and Comeback Kid. Hardcore for the everyman is OFAC's legacy in the waiting, and the band use traditional stomps to pierce the airwaves. At times their music creates such a dirge that it is hard to tell where one songs starts and the other ends, but it all makes for a glorious rumble. They don't have the same accessability and appeal that other bands of their ilk do but that is a poor excuse not to check them out. 6/7" - Matt I, Powerplay
